Let's talk about straight teeth!

Let's face it! Metal braces are no longer fashionable. The current trend in the orthodontic treatment is clear braces from Invisalign. And everyone has either heard of it or has had a friend/ relative who has worn or currently wears the clear trays. Invisalign has been the most desired dental fashion and some even consider it an accessory. From ordinary folks, teenagers to actors and models, everyone is obssessed with the ease and efficacy of this orthodontic device.

Here is how it works: Over the course of your treatment, you will be supplied with a series of aligners. They are custom-made for you, to move your teeth with the force and sequence determined by your doctor.  You have to wear each aligned for an average of 2-3 weeks.

The aligners resemble teeth-whitening trays; they are made of a thermoplastic material uniquely developed for the Invisalign treatment plan. You should wear each tray for at least 20-22 hours. When the aligners are placed on the teeth, they cause the teeth to gradually shift from their current position. The length of treatment depends on the severity of your case and can only be determined by your doctor; however, the average full course case takes about 9-12 months for adults. At the end of your treatment course you can enjoy your Hollywood straight smile! See for yourself how it works:

Does dental insurance cover Invisalign?
In most cases, Invisalign treatment is comparable to the cost of traditional braces. In general, if a patient has orthodontic coverage, Invisalign should be covered to the same extent as conventional braces with thier dental plan. If you would like to take advantage of our spring special for Invisalign treatment ($3,999 for a full course treatment and $2,699 for express treatment course) or if you would like to schedule a consultation to determine whether you are a candidate for the procedure, call us at  212-689-0024 or email us at appts@newyorkdenturedental.com today!
